Provision of basic
health care is one of the main areas
of concern in the country. The country
enjoys an important segment of the
population that is not covered by
any insurance plan on health care.
To cope with this health problem,
the Government of India has appointed
commissions healthcare in India from
time to time. These commissions healthcare
in India have dealt with all issues
on health care and offered suggestions
appropriate for the State to act accordingly.
As a concept, health care is still
an important signal to India. As against
the countries of the west and Japan,
Singapore and some other health services
in all its aspects have not made much
progress. Neither the public nor the
private sector itself is able to offer
full coverage of health care and solutions
to all segments of the population
in India. In addition, according to
the Indian Constitution, health is
a state matter, which allows the respective
state governments to formulate laws
and regulations on the subject accordingly.
Residential care for key segments
of the population are not conducive.
Most people find it difficult to get
the best medical treatments for themselves
due to lack of use of facilities and
high costs involved. In the process,
the central government has tried to
find broad guidelines to ensure a
correct and effective health care
system in India. Healthcare in India
commissions have been appointed from
time to time by the Ministry of Health.
Healthcare include commissions of
eminent health professionals and one
or two government representatives.
The work of the Commission on health
care is to deal with the fundamental
problem of health facilities, causes
and effects and submit its recommendations
to the government after analyzing
the situation objectively. All aspects
of health care, including the provision
of treatment in rural areas, medical
education, and the price of medicines,
health care insurance and related
factors are part of discussions on
commissions care health in India.
The reports of a health care Commission
are not binding on the government.
In addition, the complex constitutional
structure making health, which is
part of state government responsibility,
leaving enough room for differences.
However, one positive aspect of the
Health Commission is that it puts
the light on important health issues.
It covers these issues in the spotlight
and provides a sound platform for
discussion and possible solutions
to major health problems that the
country is facing today. Finally,
the provision of funding and allocation
of resources, both by the central
authorities and state governments
on the health budget could be seen
the result of health care commissions
efforts. Public-private partnerships
in health, resulting in more private
hospitals and research activities
in medicines, pharmaceuticals and
health services is another positive
result. And to bring the issue of
health care insurance to the agenda
of the national health policy planners
is another contribution of commissions
of health care in India. It is likely
that the Government will be able to
reach a comprehensive National Health
Policy in the near future which will
allow a better standard and better
coverage of health care for Indian
citizens around.
