World Health Organization
is a world renowned organization responsible
for instilling health care institutions
in developed countries and less developed
countries in the world. It was created
back in the year 1948 on April 7.
The organization is headquartered
in Geneva, Switzerland. It is a part
of the League of Nations in New York.
Mission of the World Health Organization:
It is the mission behind setting
up World Health Organization. The
objective of setting up these organizations
is to ensure that each body in the
world reached the highest level of
health. In addition, there are some
major tasks to be carried out by WHO
They are fighting against major diseases
in the world especially in the South
Asian countries like India, Bangladesh,
Pakistan, Nepal , Sri Lanka, Bhutan,
Maldives and Afghanistan. Throughout
the world there are people suffering
from serious diseases, but in the
countries of South Asia noted above,
we note that major diseases such as
diarrhoea, yellow fever, measles,
typhoid and other major diseases becomes
cause for concern. In the countries
of South Asia almost lions share of
the population are poor and have no
home to stay good. Thus, during the
occurrence of any endemic diseases
good treatments are not available
mainly because of absolute poverty.
World Health Organization to play
a crucial role through their various
central elements. Poverty is pervasive
in all countries of South Asia that
is why the World Health Organization
grant sounds very useful in treatment
are less concerned parties as well
as vaccinations.
Activities of the World Health Organization:
There are various activities undertaken
by the World Health Organization.
These are as follows:

various infectious diseases like SARS,
malaria and AIDS.
Who is sponsoring various programs
to fight against any contagious disease
like smallpox, measles and other related
diseases.
World Health Organization also welcomed
the distribution of vaccine safe and
effective when all the major endemic.
Following a long battle with smallpox,
it was stated ultimately, the year
1979 that this frightening disease
was finally eradicated.
WHO is sincerely struggling to fight
against other major diseases of the
human body such as malaria, schistosomiasis
and polio very soon with an incurable
drug.

supplied to the countries stricken
by poverty.
